21 July 2025 – Between 08H00 and 17H00 on Saturday 26th July 2025, the N3 Toll Route will be closed to traffic in both directions at the Balgowan Interchange (Bosch Hoek) while a bridge beam is being removed.

All traffic will be diverted (off and back onto the N3) using the ramps at the Balgowan Interchange (Exit 125). Law enforcement officials, assisted by N3TC Route Services, will manage the temporary closure of the N3 Toll Route.

N3TC appeals to motorists to approach the construction area with caution, to pay close attention to warning signs, and to carefully follow all safety instructions.

NB! The work is largely dependent on the availability of two large cranes to remove the damaged concrete beam. Should circumstances change for any reason, the planned closure may have to be rescheduled.
