N3 TOLL ROUTE • BALGOWAN/CURRYS POST INTERCHANGE•
TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF THE N3 TOLL ROUTE FOR BRIDGE REPAIR WORK
11 AUGUST 2025

11 August 2025 – Between 08H00 and 17H00 on Saturday, 16 August 2025, the N3 Toll
Route will be closed to traffic in both directions at Balgowan Interchange (Bosch Hoek)
while the bridge beam is being replaced.

All traffic will be diverted (off and back onto the N3) using the ramps at the Balgowan
Interchange (Exit 125). Law enforcement officials, assisted by N3TC Route Services, will
manage the temporary closure of the N3 Toll Route.

N3TC appeals to motorists to approach the construction area with caution, to pay close
attention to warning signs, and to carefully follow all safety instructions.

NB! The work is largely dependent on the availability of two large cranes required to
replace the concrete beam. Should circumstances change for any reason, the works
