Winter on the N3 is worth slowing down for.
Mountain views, cosy stops and crisp, fresh air all deserve a little more time. Take it slower, travel safer, and enjoy the journey.

ALWAYS STAY INFORMED & BE PREPARED
Winter travel on the N3 is beautiful — and unpredictable. If you hit an emergency, don’t panic. Help is one phone call away.
Keep a warm kit in the car
Blankets and warm clothes keep you warm without running the engine. Pack extra for the kids.
Save Your Battery
Don’t run the engine just to stay warm. Carry a torch and a charged power bank.
Meds & Basics
Spare chronic medication and a basic first-aid kit. A little planning goes a long way.
Keep the emergency lane clear
Taking a gap blocks the people coming to help. Stay in your lane and let them through.
We’re all in it together
When one driver is affected, everyone is. Heed warnings, especially carrying passengers or livestock.
Stay in your vehicle
Pack for the cold and stay put. Our Route Operations Teams will reach you — we’ll handle the rest.
