Major road rehabilitation works on the N3 may result in temporary lane width restrictions along the route, causing unforeseen delays to hauliers of abnormal width loads between Heidelberg and Cedara.
To facilitate shorter delays to hauliers since the roadworks contractors cannot always lay down his tools and immediately clear the way for abnormally wide loads to pass, N3TC invites all hauliers with abnormal loads to contact the relevant people so as to discuss the following:
- the details of their load and vehicle,
- when they will be traveling through this section of the N3,
- the road restrictions in force at that time.
- what actions are required to clear the route.
